PARENTING, CHILD ORDERS AND DNA TESTING

Parenting Child Orders

Parenting arrangements concerning children can be made with or without the intervention of a Court.  There are 2 ways to finalise arrangements for children where the parties agree, namely: (1) Parenting Plans; and (2) Consent Orders.

We practice in all areas of family law involving children including:

  • Parenting Plans
  • Consent Orders
  • Who the child is to live with
  • Who the child spends time with
  • Relocation Orders
  • Contravention Orders
  • Magellan (Child Abuse) Matters
  • Overseas Travel
  • Grandparent Applications
  • Hague Convention Applications
  • Appeals

DNA Testing

In some cases the failure to obtain a DNA test can result in someone paying Child Support when they are not the biological father of the child.

In cases where the other party does not agree to a DNA test then we can seek Orders on your behalf to compel the other party to attend for a DNA test.
