CHILD SUPPORT MAINTENANCE

The relevant legislation which applies to child support maintenance issues is the Child Support (Assessment) Act 1989.

Child support maintenance is an ongoing, periodic payment made by a parent for the financial benefit of a child following the end of a marriage or other relationship.
